Oceanside is the 3rd most populated city in San Diego County with ~175,000 residents. It is located on a 6 mile stretch on the coast just North of Carlsbad and South of the Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton. Since the establishment of Camp Pendleton (1942), the city has been home to many US armed forces personnel. Average temperatures range from high of 64 degrees to a low of 45 degrees year round.
